Fastest 2 Months EVAR!!!

So tomorrow marks the 2 month point. It’s hard to believe that Jack and Annie have been with us that long already, but it’s true. Just the other day at Stake Conference a couple sitting behind us pointed out their 7 year-old twins and said “time seemed to speed up once we had the twins.” I tend to believe them.
The past 2 months have been full of tiredness, frustration, mental exhaustion and lots and lots of love. We’re coping pretty well so far, but I use the term “we” loosely. Emily is taking the brunt of the late night duties which is good, because I don’t deal well with less than 10 hours of sleep a night.
We’re all so excited to have Jack & Annie with us and we’re super glad they’re both (relatively) happy and healthy. This past weekend made me think of all the future fun we’re going to have as a family as they get older. In one way I can’t wait until they’re old enough to go and do stuff, but in another way I’m sad that they can’t stay this squishy age forever. But I’m sure I’m not the first person to feel that way. And so the wheel of time keeps on rollin’.
