Seven Peaks Is Wet
Posted by Mike on August 18th, 2007A couple weeks ago we got to head over to Seven Peaks water park for the Omniture employee summer party. I wondered how much the girls would actually like it, but they had a blast in the kiddy pool. This resulted in quite a different experience for me than what I remember from back in high school. I did get both the girls to go on some of the bigger tube slides with me, but I dunked them both at the end (on accident) and they didn’t want to do it anymore. Go figure…
We had lots of fun going down the little slides in the kid pool though.

Ridin’ The Ponies
Posted by Mike on August 17th, 2007Over the past couple years we’ve sorta developed this annual tradition with some friends of ours. I really don’t remember how it started, but once a year (sometimes more) we take the girls to ride ponies down at the local fru-fru outlet.
Gardner Village (the fru-fru outlet) is chalk full of little boutiques that sell everything from clothes to candy (I actually don’t mind that one) to decorative dried weeds. But regardless of how much I do or do not enjoy wandering the quaint paths that meander between the “cleverly named” shops, the girls do love to ride the ponies they have there. Which brings us to the pictures…

Mal-adjusted…
Posted by Mike on August 16th, 2007Today was a pretty epic occasion… hopefully it will be Emily’s last non-stress test for the twins before delivery. But that’s really not the point of this post…
While Emily was visiting the doctor this morning Mallory got to head over and play with Aunt Lauren and “Crazy” Uncle Christopher. As it happens, Christopher got a new iMac a couple weeks ago and has been playing with iPhoto a bit. The picture below is evidence of the insanity that took place during Mal’s visit today:

Our Girls Are POSERS!
Posted by Mike on August 16th, 2007Our girls love the camera. Any time we pull it out, they immediately go into “poser” mode. Here’s a pic we took when we went to see fireworks last month. Cheeze Whiz!
Note the rather serious “blue steele” faces they’re working with there.
